About these photos
The pictures here are from different times of year: clear winter afternoons, green monsoon hills, summer sunsets over the reservoir. Some we took ourselves on visits. Others were sent in by visitors through Visitor Memories.
If you're trying to decide when to go, scroll through and compare. The water level, the crowd and the colour of the hills change a lot across the year. October to March usually has the clearest skies. July to September is the greenest, but often hazy.
